Hello

I upgraded from 1.5.x to 1.6.x

The users need to log-out appears a 404 page. I checked the menu and says Component ‘com_user’ does not exist.

I linked this menu with new component but 404 page is still appearing.

Any ideas on how to resolve this problem

Did you check if the com_user is actually not there in Joomla files? If so, I would suggest you to take a backup of current installation and reinstall Joomla 1.6 to work with.

How did you upgrade your site? Can you detail the steps you made?
