July 17, 2013 at 4:10 pm #189025Hi,
I’m using Joomla 2.5.11 and JA Fubix with “K2 Menu” and K2 as base for the entire site. When starting some components they revert “K2 Menu” to “Main Menu” (Joomla style). Has someone experienced this behavior and is so, how to prevent the components to switch to Joomla style?

July 18, 2013 at 9:51 am #499446Hi kaj,
How can they revert K2 menu to Main menu? Could you tell me more details about this issue? You can post your site url and screenshot here, it would be helpful 🙂

July 23, 2013 at 9:57 am #499891Hi Saguaros,
Sorry for the incomplete info.
I made the installation using quickstart and want the site to fully utilize K2 so I changed the “Home” menu from “Main Menu” to “K2 Menu”. When clicking on an article everything is OK but when clicking on a component then the Mega menu changes from the “K2 Menu” to the “Main Menu”.This can be seen when clicking on “Support” > “Forum” which takes the visitor to Kunena Forum. The most right-handed menu item says now “K2 Demo” which is an indication that “Main Menu” is used. You’ll also find this when clicking on “Downloads” or the calendar in the left column.
The URL for the site is http://www.scanbit.se and the site is mostly in swedish.
It might probably be a simple mistake I’ve done but I cannot understand why it is happening and appreciate your assistance.
Cheers,
KajSaguaros ModeratorSaguaros

July 24, 2013 at 6:47 am #499990Hi Kaj,
Kindly check the style (in backend > Template manager) which you’re assigning to the pages using K2 content. Make sure that it’s also assigned to the menu item page “Support > Forum”.
Currently, this Forum page may use the default style that have that Main menu by default.
Regards

July 24, 2013 at 4:59 pm #500056Hi Saguaros,
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
By changing the default style in the Template Manager to “JA_Fubix – Default K2” it works – I’ve learned something new today and for that I also thank you.
Cheers,
