I am using the following config that works but I don’t want child pages to show the masthead. So I only want the masthead for the category blog menu item.

[Masshead background="images/resorts/galley-bay/galley-bay-beach.jpg" option="com_content" view="category" layout="blog" id="11" itemid="157" title="Antigua Resorts" ]Resorts for all kinds of stay in Antigua[/Masshead]

Is this possible to achieve. I have checked the documentation and I can’t see it is possible.

Hi,

I could not access the URL of your site but you can try to use this config below

[Masshead Itemid="157" background="images/resorts/galley-bay/galley-bay-beach.jpg" title="Antigua Resorts" ]Resorts for all kinds of stay in Antigua[/Masshead]

and it will only load the menu item with id 157

I want to load a category blog mast but not to show the mast in the child pages of the category.
Click here – category page – http://bestantigua.com/resorts

then click a child page like this – http://bestantigua.com/resorts/25-jolly-beach-resort-spa

I am not going to make a menu item for each article.

Have you sorted the problem on your site? I checked the category blog and each article item on your site and they are working as well with JA Masthead module on your site: http://prntscr.com/dce8ud and http://prntscr.com/dce94v

No I have not yet discovered how to NOT show on child pages yet.
