I try to test the virtue on this template, but after i done the order, the system never send out the “confirmation email”, is this because the template problem or it’s virtuemart?

Please check following problems:

+ The server supports to send email
+ Check the configuration of Mail Settings at System tab in Site -> Global Configuration to sure that your configuration was correct.

If I am using this on localhost – would I get an email – because I do not. Is there a way to set it up that I get an email from localhost?

Hi,

Nope, you can’t. You must have your site on internet rather than localhost.

It is possible.

You must install a server send mail in local.
