We’ve successfully set up JA Pop up with the shadowbox settings to have videos pop up in the opal template. Everything works find until we enable AllVideos Reloaded. Once we do the videos using JA Pop Up work, but the close button on the bottom right doesn’t. Is there something I have to disable in one of the configurations?

Hello torenewa!

The “AllVideos Reloaded” plugin & the “Shadow box” in JA Popup have used the javascript library “swfobject” together.
But The “AllVideos Reloaded” plugin is using the old version, it’s version 2.0, with the Shadow box” is version 2.1 which supported many new features, so that the object conflict happened.

Now, you only upgrade version for the AllVideos Reloaded plugin, may be it will work done. Or you can use other modal of the JA Popup such as “Highlight”, “MultiBox”…etc .

There is path of swfobject library in these plugins:
– Avreloaded: /plugins/content/avreloaded/swfobject.js
– JA Popup: plugins/system/plg_japopup/plg_japopup/shadowbox/libraries/swfobject/swfobject.js

You should backup all files before doing.

Hi tienhc,

I checked the plugins for AllVideo Reloaded and they were all version 1.2. So I unistalled All Video Reloaded, Downloaded the current version from their site and reinstalled the components, module, & plugins and still have the same problem.

What am I missing?

Thanks. That was the solution, but I needed the folks at the AllVideo Forum to explain it.

In case anyone else has this problem, here’s the answer:

You can upgrade the AVR swfobject.js to 2.1 by simply replacing the AVR file with the other one.

Take the swfobject.js v2.1 file from
– JA Popup: plugins/system/plg_japopup/plg_japopup/shadowbox/libraries/swfobject/swfobject.js

and copy it to

– Avreloaded: /plugins/content/avreloaded/swfobject.js

Keep backups.
