The bluface template of jomsocial conflicts with the teline III template and the menu on jomsocial doesn’t work when you use the blueface template.

Ja Developer member has admin access to my site here : http://www.i-stories.gr/community/ifacebook.html

Yes, when using “bluface” template of jomsocial as above link, some of the links in the event page as this screenshot shown not clickable:
    http://screencast.com/t/YTE5ZGQ3NDI

To see the issue, you will need to login jomsocial 1.8, then create an event. after that view the event details, and you will see all the unclickable links.

pascm, I have created a test account in yoursite for JA to test (login: test / mytest), but it seems you did not enable the event feature, so user can not create event. Can you enable the event feature so that we can create event in your site to test the issue?

Just did, you can also see that in blueface template of joomsocial the menu is not working either. (please use english for the frontend so you can understand the language as i haven’t even complete yet the translation in my language).

Edit: In my site the links on the event are working only the menu is not

This is so strange that event page links are working in your site, but not in mine. on the other hand, jomsocial menu links and drop down are working in my site.

I am running template ver 1.4 stable. what ver are you running? Have you tried to change the Teline3 to other template to see if the menu works?

Well actually i just did (when i read your msg) and the answer is yes the menu is working, i tested with JA Puriy and rhuk_milkyway

Do you have a live site in case someone can find what is causing the problem?

PS i am also using the latest Teline3 1.4.1

ok, to make things simple, I install a fresh Joomla and the 1.4.1 Teline3 template without installing any other plugin and mod. then install a fresh jomsocial 1.8 with blueface template.

now all jomsocial menu links are not working as your site, but the event page links are working. I don’t know what’s wrong, but at least this is related to Teline3.

JA support, please have a look this issue.

JA support, please see the live url showing the issue here:

First login into the site to see the issue: (login: test / mytest)
    http://www.i-stories.gr/community/ifacebook.html
use google to translate the site to English if you can not read.

When using 1.4.1 Teline3 template wit Jomsocial 1.8, menu drop down does not work

Normally, it should be working like this:

    Hello

The problem is from the site loading two jquery libs. here is the source:

    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”/components/com_jacomment/asset/js/ja.comment.js”></script>
    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”/components/com_jacomment/asset/js/ja.popup.js”></script>

    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”/components/com_jacomment/libs/js/atd/jquery.atd.js”></script>
    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”/components/com_jacomment/libs/js/atd/csshttprequest.js”></script>
    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”/components/com_jacomment/libs/js/atd/atd.js”></script>
    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”/includes/js/joomla.javascript.js”></script>
    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://www.i-stories.gr/components/com_community/assets/joms.jquery.js”></script>

Is it possible to remove the jquery from ja comment ?

    Dear pascm,

I think you should remove the file joms.jquery.js.
Because the file ja.comment.js uses jquery.
If you removed the file jquery-1.3.1.js, jacomment will error javascript.

    Sincerely,

it uses jquery to post to the database. Try some of the other files. One has to be conflicting with the dropdown js
