I setup Joomla 3 on my server and used the Quickstart version of the University template. I didn’t have some of the modules available so I used the Discover feature in the Extensions Manager. There are 5 JA modules shown there. They won’t install however and tell me there is an invalid extension update. So I checked my template to ensure that it is the right version and it shows it as being 2.5. I had downloaded the 1.0.4 version of the template which appears to be for both 2.5 and 3.0 I am running 3.1.1 and assume this is why my modules won’t work but I don’t know how to get the 3.0 version of the template to work when it appears they both come from the same file?

Not sure what to do next.

    Hi Jim,

Installing quickstart package means that you will have template and extensions installed and be available to use, alike demo site.

If you want to check version and update JA products, it’s recommended to use our JA Extension Manager component to check.

Additionally, this JA University is not available for the latest version 3.1 of Joomla, we are in progress of updating it and hope to release within this week.

Okay, thank you. I did find a couple of quirky things with University but would still like to use it so I will check to see when the update appears.

    Hi marcellomth,

Try to use our JA Extension manager component to update: http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_Extensions_Manager/Overview
