February 19, 2014 at 11:13 am #523410Hi Madhall,
In global settings, make sure that the from email address is from the same domain as the website. eg, is you site is mysite.com, then the from email needs to be somebody@mysite.com. Now, I see it’s none. You need to set it
I have tested on your site but the mail function does not work.
On this case, you need to contact hosting provider helps you to check it.
Regards

February 25, 2014 at 10:32 am #524278Hi Ninja,
Email a copy to yourself works on PHP mailer. With SMTP it no emails are being sent at all – to the user or the person contacting. A notification for SMTP Connect Failed pops up.
Any thoughts?

February 26, 2014 at 7:48 am #524413March 4, 2014 at 9:35 pm #525336Hi
Tried the above and everything else I know. When I keep it as a PHP mail an email goes out to the person contacting as a copy but none to the actual contact as per the contact email in the system. At the same time, the SMTP config does not work at all!
I have launched my website now but not having a working contact form is bad!
please help!

March 7, 2014 at 10:28 am #525793Thanks for your help Ninja! I managed to solve the issue. There was a clash with location of the mail server – I was using hotmail as an email server but that was rejecting all emails. Had to create a email account on the local server which received emails from joomla.
