    Hi everyone!

The contact form is something I am struggling with. I want it to look like in the demo. The problems I am having:

    – The labels are incorrect (see attachment)
    – How do I get a title is missing (in the demo it says contact form)

Thanks in advance for the help!! 🙂

    Hello bvk1987,

Problem occurred because it lacked of language file. Please check if “/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_contact.ini” file is available or not.

    Regards.

That file is present. It needs to be in Dutch. Not sure if that is supported?

So you must have a Dutch language file for Contact component as well. Otherwise, Dutch can’t be loaded for this component.

That is correct. Where can I find a Dutch file? Or can I open a file and change the labels myself?

A friend of mine using a different template mentioned that for him everything was in Dutch already concerning the contact form.

    Hello bvk1987,

You can copy “/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_contact.ini” file to “/language/nl-NL/nl-NL.com_contact.ini” file, then translate English to Dutch.

    Regards.

I’m sorry, I can’t seem to figure it out.

I added a new folder called “nl-NL”. I copied the en-GB.com_contact.ini file into the nl-NL folder and renamed it to nl-NL.com_contact.ini. But I cannot find the labels in notepad++ and the normal notepad (build in Windows).

Also, how does the website now know which language folder to choose? In the back-end, I can only select “English UK” as language in the menu-manager – contact.

BTW: I have the same problem with the footer. See attached.

    Hello bvk1987,

You haven’t installed Dutch language on your site. You can find Joomla Dutch language package on http://www.joomla.org , download it and install it. Then you can use Dutch on your site.

And it works, the footer and the contact form! Thank you.
