Hi again,
I followed the steps you told me about the contact form /"global configurations > Mail settings > test email."/ I’ve tested the mail settings it worked correctly but when we fill in the contact form and mail it we still do not recieve any message nor do the mailder. Please, advise me what to do.

Hello

You should verify with your hosting provider that email account used in your website is correctly working, Joomla takes only configuration and manage already configured emails, it doesn’t check if emails are correctly set.

If you test an email info@mydomain.com you will see what i mean.

Hi,
I attach the result with your advice.
I recieved test email but when again I filled in the contact form it did not send any message to me nor to the mailer.
May be there is a problem with the mailer settings, now it is set to: "sendmail"
What do you think?

Hello

As i said above Joomla doesn’t manage email routing configurations but it only takes settings from your global configuration , so if everything ( email address included ) is correctly configured then it will works fine, otherwise you should verify with your hosting provider email settings, in any case Joomla email configuration has nothing to do with template since it is joomla core extension.

I have exact the same Problem! No Mails.
But in Backend-configuration evere testmail i send i receive correct. So i think it has may be something to do with the new joomla-version nr. 3.7 and PHP 7.

i guess you have an error in one of the contact-category database-entrys of your democontents. Because after i deleted all contacts AND contactcategorys (this generated an error so i had have to delete the last category with phhMyAdmin in the database) it works with new contact & category…
