    Hello

I have set up a single contact form (JA Rave) and all looks fine except that contact fields are displaying on the form. I tried hiding any and all Global Options and nothing seems to work. Is there a way to stop the field name displays (or whatever they are). The form is located here: http://www.team-charleston.com/sales-contact or see attached screen shot.

    Thank you very much.

    Hi Jonesmark,

As per your template info you are using JA Rave 1.0.1 Beta which is quite old, please use the latest version 1.1.1.

Thank you – I did not know there was a new version out there. I will back-up and then install the latest version. Will I need to worry about the issues with Joomla 1.7 and front-end problems myself and others have experienced? I am hoping this will be a smooth transition . . . and crossing my fingers

I am replying to your post again because your genius ticket system says I have not responded in 48 hours (must have a lacy clock).

The install did not work. When I installed the latest ja rave template, i am getting an “-1 – An error has occurred. Copy failed”

    HI Jonesmark,

I have tried installing the latest JA Rave, everything worked smoothly. In your case you have already install a previous version, please do as following:
    1. Backup your current JA Rave if you have modified it, the easiest way is rename the folder ja_rave in /templates. If you haven’t changed anything of the template, just skip this.
    2. Navigate to admin > extension manager > manage, then remove the current JA Rave.
    3. Install the latest JA Rave.
    4. Re-apply the changes you have made in the previous version, I will guide you later if you need to do this step.

Ok – because I was pressed for time what I ended up doing was was installing just the updated extension manager first in order to update the rest of the components/pluggins/modules within the back-end extmanager panel. Was/is this acceptable? Everything so far appears to be working normally.
