We just installed a fresh copy of JA Social 1.2.0 using the Joomlart Quickstart file, in order to ensure compatibility.

We have stumbled upon a problem in the contact form layout. If we enable the e-mail form for a contact, then all side content is wrapped underneath the e-mail contact form under the standard contact layout.

If the e-mail form is disabled for this contact, then all side content (etc left2, inset2) shows correctly side-by-side to main content.

Any idea?

I had similar problem with Teline III template.
Problem was caused by “table-less” code of the template (not usage of <table> tag but <div> only).
To check, go to the template’s folder and rename htmlcom_contact to htmlcom2_contact for example. By doing this you’ll load default contact for of Joomla.

You are right, it is the only way to have it showing properly.

Probably the Joomlart team can catalogue this as a bug…
