I currently have my authors linked to contact profiles. When you click on their name when viewing an article it lists the lint as component/contact/contact instead of linking to the created contact. Also none of the articles associated with that user work when you click on the link. The titles show up, but the links show up as “component/content/article?id=” instead of the proper categories its listed under (ex: tv/news/article-title).

I have SEF and URL writing turned on.

Also…after updating my T3 Framework, I get a strange message when I try to edit my template settings: “From T3 Framework version 1.6 for Joomla 1.7, you should convert to new folder structure to manipulate profiles, layouts and themes. Please backup template files before convert.”

What is that about? All the options under template profiles are grayed out.

Even if the profile question can’t be answered, what about the Framework?
