Now that I have successfully added a contact us form, I have a few more questions.

I also have a page that lists all of my contacts.

1. I don’t want the contact us one included in this list, why would i ?
2. If I am stuck with it being there, I can’t place it in a suitable place among the list because there is no up and down button for me to put it where i want.

Here’s what I needed.

I needed pages for basically a directory. And I wanted some to be seen for some directories and some to be seen for others.

Also, I needed a Contact Us page.

To have a page with a listing of contacts who were in the administration, I created a group called administration, then added my contacts one by one and selected this group for each one of these contacts.

To have a page with with PTA contacts, I created a group called PTA, then when i added my contacts for this i selected group PTA

Then for the Contact Us page, I added another group called contact us. Then added a contact and called it contact us for either the name or position, and put it in the contact us group.

For these pages to show up, I went to menus, selected my menu, created a new menu item, selected contacts, then contact category layout and from there selected my group which i wanted to display.

For the contact us to show up, I went to menus, select my menu, created a new menu item, selected standard contact layout and my contact us group from the drop down.

Does this help anyone, I would like to know.

hi yes,
funny, this particular thread is closed i thought because i modified it to say “solved.” however, i have a new post started where i am having a problem and wanted those who might help me to see what the error is that i am getting…
any chance you want to look at my new post and help me out there ?
