Hello,

I have succesfully installed the quickstart for Puresite.
My site is gonna be in french and on the menu BONUS PAGE-> Contact I have an acces to a contacts page with contacts name and contacts form , etc … that is all in english. How can I translate that in french. do I have to do it manually? Or is there an extension that I can add?

Hi

You need to install the french language pack enable it for your content and then choose as language for your contact page the french installed

That’s great but suppose you need Chinese And English? I have Chinese translation for Contact Form but cannot locate the correct file to customize. Does anyone know where it is? :((

Could you explain better which steps you have done to install the chinese language ?

The procedure is the same for all languages installed on joomla.

Sorry, I should have more clear. Next to any area that has English, I simply put the Chinese translation (manually) like this:

Paul Cavanagh, Director | 创始人

However, I cannot locate Contact Form file so I can manually add Chinese to each field:

Hi

You have showed to me the contact form so i think you need to insert the chinese translation for each field

My first thought was to simply edit the en-GB.com_contact.ini file and add the translation next to the field name

For example :

COM_CONTACT_CONTACT_EMAIL_NAME_LABEL=”Name / 创始人”

it will become

I would have thanked you sooner Pavit but the Joomlart site was unavailable all day for some reason.
Anyway…IT WORKED!
I should have remembered to look in the LANGUAGE folder first.
