When you go to the contact page, I’m having a problem when typing into the body of the email and the text being black. I need to turn it white and can not find the script for it.
Also I have another question. When I add more then two contents (news) to the front page the two oldest or however many pair up. I wish for the content to stay seperate and to flow down the page as it is now. I don’t want anything pairing up.
Thanks

the text i type into both the members login fields and the fields on the contact page are in white text in both IE 7 and FF 2
In the frontpage manager ( admin backend) you can set the order in which the articles appear

April 12, 2007 at 10:21 am #217768not in the fields… in the body.
So the actually email text that I will be reading, I need that text to be white.
Also how do I get more then two news items to keep from pairing up… I want them to flow down the page and not jumble up

April 12, 2007 at 11:43 am #217771Not sure if I understand what you are talking about with “pairing up”. Do you mean that 2 news items are placed next to each other? And you want only 1 column of news? If so, go to the main menu and click on “home”.
In the parameters, you can choose how many news items to show, if you want 1 or 2 columns and so on. Just look at the parameters and play around a bit. 🙂
Not sure on how to solve the body of contact us but I assume this is also run somewhere in the template_css.css… Most likely…

</blockquote>Open the template_css.css file and search for the following (in the FORM-section):
textarea {
padding-left: 2px;
}
Change this code to:
textarea {
padding-left: 2px;
color: #ffffff;
}
Now the text in the contact-form is white. 😀
Good luck.

April 12, 2007 at 1:41 pm #217791This means I was right! Hot diggity!!
April 12, 2007 at 8:08 pm #217828Hey thanks for the help on the Contact section…
And yes when I say pair up, I do mean two news items being displayed next to each other. I want only one column and to continue down the page no matter HOW many entries I put.
Also is there a Forum that I can imbed into the website?
Any suggestions on the website? How does it look so far?

Aha! I found how to change the columns… I knew as you said that there was a place to change the columns, but I looked everywhere. The answer to my question is to click on the MENU and change the columns there. I looked at the catagory, section, and content and couldn’t find it, but it is able to be changed under the menu section.
I find this odd. =D
Anyone have any ideas on embedding a forum into the website? I want it to keep the same design and look professional.

I have used JoomlaBoard. It integrates in Joomla without a bridge. I used it in JA-Utahia and it works perfect.
You can find it here: http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,133/Itemid,35/
The website looks fine to me. Good job!!!
Kind Regards,
Peter.
