    Hello @pankajsharma,

    let me explain what I usually do: if an article is long and is meant to be displayed both as a category blog and as a single article, I put the read-more tag at some point and select to display the intro text when in single article mode. This way I don’t duplicate the text nor put a read-more tag on top if there is no need for it. I can see from the content table that the text is splitted into two columns introtext and fulltext, I don’t know how the joomla api combine the two and how many methods are there to retrieve them.

    My concern is, if I remove the block from the theme as suggested, will I be able to see both the intro text and full text or not?

    If u will remove blockquate it remove only remove intro text and shows u full text . kindly try the suggestion first , or use Read More in article to
    use it correctly with template behavior.
