We’ve toggled everythign we can think of off/on/off/on and nothing is helping. On all other pages, everything is fine, but on the homepage, the twitter at top right doesnt display, we have a custom HTML module above the ads on the right that isnt displaying, RSS feeds in the bottom user positions that aren’t displaying, and the JANews2 isn’t displaying.

Could really use some help. This all started after we re-named an article that was causing the headlines bar to wrap down to a second level. All was fine with it wrapped, but when we fixed the title, everything went haywire.

Also, the news button was broke suddenly after we edited the article, so i toggled it to another page, and back to news, and that fixed it.

Rather interesting issue… What I can suggest first is to enable max. error reporting level (Server tab in Global configs).

Another though is about alias. Is that article linked to a menu item? As far as I know same aliases in menu items could cause some problems.

Our server admin said the database looked nasty, so he did a restore to sunday night..all seems to be working for now…

Welp, spoke too soon, site is back down.

1. placed “levitt_pavilion_flash” folder on server via WebDAV
a. Folder contained one (empty) folder, 2 SWF files, one FLA file, and 1 file each of PSD, JPG, and PNG.
a. Checked site, was still online
2. Created “Interactives” section
a. Checked site, still online
3. Created “Interactive Content” category
a. Checked site, was still online.
4. created article with the following code:

a. Checked site, was still online
5. Put section link in Navigation
a. Site was still up
6. Put article link in navigation as an article link
a. Site went down

7. Disabled the navigation article link
8. disabled navigation section link
9. removed the article and emptied article trash
10. deleted the category and section
11. Deleted menu items and emptied menu trash

I’ve undone everything that I did, and it’s still down.

It is quite simple, it appears you have editd your css somehow. Unfortunately because you have css optimization switched on I cannot see exactly where. Switch that off and I can point you in the right direction. You have the following set somewhere

What exactly has been input at “6. Put article link in navigation as an article link”. That seem to be breaking the database. Below is the error from the debug mode. Seem like the ‘ in the title, “’Women’s Profiles” is the problem, it didn’t get insert into the database correctly.

We had OIT do another database restore back to Sunday. Apparently if we do anything with the navigation, it puts the entry above into the logs. Apparently the server is upset about an apostrophe, but we aren’t sure why.
