To have more clear idea of what is happening on your site would be better to access it
If you can you can send me a PM with a temp super user account i will try to take a closer look

June 21, 2013 at 6:10 am #496451Hi 7of9
As you can see now content in Violet theme is correctly showed
I changed your default layout from Home to Default to verify if it works as should
<blockquote>Also, trying to update the template results to error:
Unknown Archive type
Update path does not exist</blockquote>I configured component with my account for remote service and as you can see i correctly updated the ja-masshead module
So change info in Service Manager with your Joomlart account and set it as default and it works correctly.
Let me know if you still have problems

June 21, 2013 at 8:24 am #496464Hi, pavit,
I knew that with the default it works, but I don’t want to use the default, because it does not have the same positions. It uses 10, 11, 12, when the violet theme uses 20, 21, 22 and their background color is grey, while the default’s color in these positions is white.
What’s wrong with the violet theme? Why doesn’t it show the content?About the update, I do not understand what I should change.
Thanks in advance.

June 21, 2013 at 8:51 am #496470Hi
<blockquote>What’s wrong with the violet theme? Why doesn’t it show the content?</blockquote>Here is not a problem of theme but layout
You can apply theme on various layouts – if you check the Home layout it has not the content block so your home page cannot show articles but can use only module positions
so you can use default layout and add new positions or change the 10-11-12- with 20-21-22
About the update, I do not understand what I should change.
You need to set your joomlart account in system information and set the remote update as default

June 21, 2013 at 10:23 am #496488Hi pavit,
I just need the standard layout of Violet theme as it’s shown at http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#ja_brisk
Here is a picture. I am interested at the modules inside the red circle. They should be with the exact layout and colors.The only problem is that theme Violet does not show the content and I really cannot understand why it’s implemented this way.
Also could you please assist me with the update configuration?
Grazie MILLE!!! 🙂

June 21, 2013 at 11:14 am #496497I switched the theme for Home layout to Violet
please check it
also to configure your ja_extension manager component you need to add your joomlart login details in service manager
so go to back end menu – Components – Ja_Extension Manager – on the left component menu click on service manager – you will see local Service and JoomlArt Updates flag the Joomlart Updated as default then on the right click on Edit and fill in your username and password you use to connect to Joomlart
Save it then you can update your template plugin and modules7of9 Friend7of9

June 21, 2013 at 11:33 am #496500Hi pavit.
I have updated the JoomlArt Update as you told me, however I have again the same error.
Also, the fix of the modules is not applied to the rest of the pages. ie: http://www.dogbows.gr/index.php/products
Thanks in advance. 🙂
Edit: I found the problem about the JoomlArt Update. I updated via the JoomlArt Extensions Manager. So Joomla Update does not work for Joomlart in Joomla’s update system anymore, right? The thing is that Joomla, always report that there are updates. I purged the cache, but no change.

June 21, 2013 at 2:29 pm #496511Hi
I modified your default layout as showed here
<body><?php $this->loadBlock (‘header’) ?>
<?php $this->loadBlock (‘slideshow’) ?>
<?php $this->loadBlock (‘masshead’) ?>
<?php $this->loadBlock (‘spotlight-1’) ?>
<?php $this->loadBlock (‘mainbody’) ?>
<?php $this->loadBlock (‘spotlight-2’) ?>
<?php $this->loadBlock (‘spotlight-3’) ?>
<?php $this->loadBlock (‘navhelper’) ?>
<?php $this->loadBlock (‘spotlight-6’) ?>
<?php $this->loadBlock (‘footnav’) ?>
<?php $this->loadBlock (‘footer’) ?>
</body>
Now it appears in this way
Check it and let me know
