Does anybody knows why I am not able to change my content language?
I am only able to change the admistration language but not the content

    Greetings:

You will need to integrate and initiate a language pack for whatever language you are wanting to display.

This is a JoomlArt Video Tutorial on multi-language options in Joomla!

You can find a great many language packs within the Joomla Extension Directory[/url]

Then something is not right with your overall configuration. When is the last time you performed an update of your template and extensions using the Extension Manager?

The one issue that is not mentioned is that both in joomla 1.6 and 1.7 the default menu item must be set to “all” languages for languages that don’t have a defined homepage.
