December 22, 2015 at 10:06 am #828683Hello?
I just jumped this thread and quickly checked from the backend of your site, but I could not see SEF is enabling on your site.
You can clone this site and install SEF on that test site then give me the credentials via Set as private reply, I will help you to detect further. I want to test it first before applying to live site.
December 22, 2015 at 1:38 pm #828869It doesn’t matter if SEF is enabled or not. It’s not working with SEF disabled and enabled. And i want it to work with SEF disabled too of course. How often do i need to repeat this? Just click on the Logo and you will see that the style is not being loaded.
And please hurry because this has taken way too long.

December 23, 2015 at 4:19 am #829588I spent a lot of my time to debug the problem on your site and it’s very strange with this problem. When I set other pages by default Homepage and it’s working fine, but it is not working with Home menu items.
I fixed the problem on your site with steps
- Open templates/ja_hotel/tpls/blocks/header.php file
from
<a href="<?php echo JURI::base(true) ?>" title="<?php echo strip_tags($sitename) ?>">
to
<a href="/" title="<?php echo strip_tags($sitename) ?>">
- Open templates/ja_hotel/tpls/default.php file and add slideshow and section-2 sections
<?php $this->loadBlock('slideshow') ?> <?php $this->loadBlock('section-2') ?>
Now, you can see it’s working fine on your site, let me know if it helps
December 23, 2015 at 11:29 am #829828Well this still does not load the assigned Home Style on the Home Menu item, right? Its just loading the modified and not assigned default style.
It would be great if the template actually does what it’s supposed to.
December 23, 2015 at 2:46 pm #829925Will this be fixed for good or do we need to live with this bug?

December 24, 2015 at 4:21 am #830417It’s very hard to know why the home page on your site did not load the home style with home menu item. However, it already set by default, but other menu items are working fine if you set it with home style.
I don’t think this is a bug from our product. But you can try to use this way again.
- Create the new menu item and config the modules and template style like with current Home and set it by default
Hope it helps.
January 4, 2016 at 1:19 pm #838237Tried that but still wrong style is loading on root.
So still no working solution.January 4, 2016 at 1:20 pm #838238I mean you coded it. Can’t you debug the code via ftp?

January 5, 2016 at 4:24 am #838728@stellarid: I will help you to help you to check the problem on your site again.
Besides that, please don’t forget to send me again the credentials info: the URL of your site, admin login and FTP account via Set as private reply.

January 7, 2016 at 9:01 am #840732I changed the configuration on your site with steps below and removed code into templates/ja_hotel/tpls/default.php file from my solution here
-
Set ja_hotel – Home template style on your site by default template on your site
- Assigned ja_hotel – Default template style with other pages.
Now, you can see the Homepage on your site is working as well
You can check it again let me know if it helps.
January 7, 2016 at 11:08 am #840872Well that’s a workaround too. "Default" should be the default template and the Home Style should be assigned to the home menu item and loaded, which it does not.
We installed the template with the same settings as on your demo site. Why dont you try to understand why it wont load the home style as it should instead of trying workarounds. We already had all of theese.Ninja Lead ModeratorNinja Lead

January 8, 2016 at 10:48 am #841794I forwarded the problem on your site to our devlopment team and they solved the problem on your site, you can check it again.
January 8, 2016 at 11:45 am #841814You say they solved it, but its still the same bug.
When loading the root menu item under http://partner.kanaren-24.com, the assigned home style is not loaded. Instead it loads the default style.It’s the same problem i’m talking all the time about.
