I have installed the Rutile template and it looks fine accept the content and email pdf print are not contained, they are allowed to expand underneath the right collum,i have tried making the artical narrower but that still leaves the icons still expanded out under the right colum,

any help will be very appreiated as the template looks good.

    thanks

Can you provide a live URL so we may see the issue and properly diagnose it?

    Hi thanks for the reply,

    http://www.voiceofevesham.co.uk/site/evesham-tradesmen/plumbers-in-the-evesham-area

the above url has had the articals trimmed to fit but you will see that the email pdf and print icons are still over laping the rint collum

Someone else is having similar problem http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/title-runs-over-pdf-print-graphics/

Don’t have an answer, but wondering if it might be related to the JA News module since both templates use it?

The problem is actually not with CSS but with your image sizes.

Resizing works well in JA_News and JA_frontpage…but leave Joomla! to itself on the inside…and well, it calls home to momma. This is especially true when you are trying to run a SECTION/BLOG or CATEGORY/BLOG format in more than two columns.

    So here’s what to do:
    Taking your example page –
    http://www.voiceofevesham.co.uk/site/evesham-tradesmen/plumbers-in-the-evesham-area

You need to manually reduce the oversized “Nick Clifton Plumbing and Heating” graphic…which in its original state is a whopping 1050px × 687px and reduce it to something more managable…say a width of something around 450 to 500px tops. That image is what is forcing everything else above it to be pushed out.

You’ll notice the same thing on your Evesham Sexshops pages (Ok…I just had to look.. HA!) The Adam and Eve pic is again too large for the hole. You’ll need to pull them down in width below 500px.

Cropping pictures to fit in internal Joomla pages will also help greatly in page load times.

The alternative is to go to a 2 column (either left or right + content) style.

    Hope this helps.
    John.
