September 22, 2009 at 9:56 am #144475When we use the Content Slider in combination with Joomfish, only the first article is shown in the chosen language…
Article 2 and 3 are shon in the Site Default Language.
Translations of the articles are correct and published, but it shows just the first of three article in the correct language (in our case Chinese).
Any idea how to fix this??
Thanks
Heiko

September 22, 2009 at 10:53 am #318093Hi Heiko
I had a similar problem on my site, and it seems that JoomFish had done some upgrades to keep up to date with latest Joomla releases.
Are you using latest release of Joomla and JoomFish?
Also, if you are using the Content Table Localisation plugin, you should upgrade to the latest version too.
This may not be the problem, but it worked for me!

September 23, 2009 at 5:35 am #318181Hey Chris:
Thanks for the reply, however I am pretty much up to date on all versions…. It’s Joonla 1.5.14 and Joomfish 2.0.3 (including some patches they released) …
So, somehow am not able to get it to work…

September 28, 2009 at 6:01 am #318826Ok, I was lucky enough to figure it finally out …. in order for others to benefit in case they run into the same problem, here goes what did the trick for me.
You will need to switch off the USE AJAX in the second language and than all slides are in the correct language…
Thanks Chris for your reply, and once again… lousy support from our dearest “Administrators” at Joomlart…

Heiko you clearly state in your first post that your problem is JoomFish not translating content on the page. What does this have to do with JoomlArt support? Joomlart did not build the component and are not familiar with how it works.
You don’t mention anything about any part of JoomlArts products not working.
Your question should have been asked at the JoomFish support forums and not here but glad to see you have it resolved.
