June 12, 2012 at 2:37 pm #178079Hi,
I have installed the JA Content Slider on my website, but I keep getting this error:
<blockquote>Warning: imagepng() [function.imagepng]: Unable to open ‘/home/creatide/B2TIDYTW/htdocs/images/resized/images/current-websites/m1-capital_300_300.png’ for writing: Permission denied in /home/creatide/B2TIDYTW/htdocs/modules/mod_jacontentslider/jaimage.php on line 318</blockquote>
I have checked my permissions on the folders (755), the file is set to 777.
But the error persists.I have cleaned the cache. This hasn’t helped either.
Any other ideas?

June 14, 2012 at 12:30 pm #457407Hi HeR0,
Thank you for helping me to get the images to display 🙂 When I was having the problem, I changed the file permissions to 777 and that didn;t work either. But i’m glad you fixed it 🙂 Thank you.
In the backend, it is set to AutoRun the slide.. but on the front end, it’s not rotating.
Also, there seems to be a block that’s behind my image – it’s not resizing that block to the size of my image. Can you tell me why it’s doing that?
I’ve adjusted the animation time and the rolling delay time, but it’s still not sliding 🙁HeR0 FriendHeR0

June 15, 2012 at 8:56 am #457544I already have. It is updated to 2.5.3.
Should I just find another slider? Because it seems you also can’t get this fixed?creativedesigns Friendcreativedesigns

June 15, 2012 at 10:19 am #457574I have managed to find a free image rotator that works perfectly.
I am very disappointed that the slider I got from JA didn’t work. Thanks for looking at the problem.

July 2, 2012 at 10:25 am #459535Hi first post,,,
Get the same message:
Warning: imagejpeg() [function.imagejpeg]: Unable to open ‘/home/usr003/public_html/images/resized/images/demo/stories/demo-5_130_90.jpg’ for writing: Permission denied in /home/usr003/public_html/modules/mod_jacontentslider/jaimage.php on line 315
Did the following
# set permission to to resized and it subfolders
cd /home/usr003/public_html/images
chown -R usr003:nobody resized
chmod -R 777 resized
cd resized# empty the resized folder
rm -rf imagesStill not working and still get the error, note apache and php are running as the correct users (usr003 and nobody)
Regards
