In what file should I add “var $absolute_path = ‘your absulute path’;”
Is te in the cofiguration.php or index.php ?

That is in configuration.php, and you dont need to add it you just need to change it, it should allready be there.

I do not see this in the configuration.php file also. Also, how do you manage the content in the slider? I see the images and articles but where do I manage the slider itselft? thanks.

you can go to Extensions-> Modules Manager, then choose JA content slider to config as you want

The Extensions-> Modules Manager is for configuration. From what I got, one still has to go into the configuration.php to add var $absolute_path = ‘your absolute path’ if it is not there in order for slider to work. Right? Slider works and var $absolute_path = ‘your absulute path’ is not in that file. What is missing? thanks.

I think that only add into configuration.php of joomla 1.0
