I am making a website with JA Lead template. But I have got two questions. …

one…
How can I add new articles and images to the contentslide? Because I just can’t find where to enable or disable articles, but I also can’t find where to put new ones into the contentslide. Anyone got some wisdom in this?

When I install all the sample data. And then put 3 or 4 articles on the frontpage from the sample data, they won’t appear, how can this be? Anyone know how I can fix this?

1). I open my contentslide module but then what? Which articles are coming in the slide module? How can I add them and choose which ones? Some more explanation would be great 🙂

2). I used the sample data. But it’s not working that good. If I make a new article for example and put it on the frontpage, it won’t appear (I do check published and frontpage so that’s not it). It just won’t appear.

i also want to know how to display content in contentslide. do you i need to create an article with pictures and text and the specified category, and if so, how do i need to input the data into the article? is it one article per photo? or all photos in one article? what does the layout need to be in the article?

I thinks that you have problems from the ja slidercontent, may be you have not a clear understanding about how to use the setting.

The ja slider content is a module allow to Slide your contents with category or many categories. The module” ll Sort Articles Order By many conditions such as: DATE, ORDERING, HITS, and with order is Ascending OR Descending.
So that you would like to display new articles and images to the contentslide:
1) you choose one of many categories as you expected in the Categories selection parameter.
2) You set the value: “DATE” for the Articles Sort Order By parameter. and choose the value “Descending” for the Ascending OR Descending parameter, and then the newest articles will display first.

I guess that the module is using the caching option, please access the Advanced Parameters and set the value: Don’t cache for the Caching parameter.
