I’m using the ‘Latest Photos’ ja_contentslider in the JA_Opal template. If I duplicate a ‘Latest photo’ Category Article (one of the ones that appears in the ja_contentslider module) the copied article appears as a link in the contentslider but the image doesn’t. Why does this happen?

If I copy the html from one of the articles that work and paste it into the article that only displays the link in the ‘Latest Photos’ contentslider the image still does not appear.

I’m hoping someone can help.

Hi svrgh,

I am afraid that you could not create other ja_contentslider module in the same page. For each page, you only create a ja_contentslider module because modules will use the same id element

Hi,

I did have only one mod_ja_contentslider on the page. I did have other instances of the mod_ja_contentslide on other pages (with individual names and ID) but I have now deleted those duplicates in an effort to fix this problem. Deleting the additional instances did not fix the problem.

The contentslider is loading all articles in the “Latest photo” category but new articles or even articles with the same html content don’t load the photo as per the sample below. All articles get a new ID anyway so I can’t see this as an ID problem in the articles.

The notes with the module state:

Note : check in your configuration in your site if there isn’t this line “var $absolute_path = ‘your absulute path’;” you have to add its there to run.
– To run virture Mark on Joomla 1.5 you have to Enable ” System – Legacy ” in plugin Manager.
– If your site hadn’t import mootools.v1.1 so to run this module you have to remove all comment characters in code On line 78 in mod_ja_contentslide.php file to import mootools v1.1

Is this a configuration, legacy or mootool problem?
