Good evening all,

I figured out how to control the depth of the menu items in the mod_mainmenu that
appears on the left hand column at http://www.digitaldemo.net/aspa/ however I have
not been able to figure out how to do the same thing for the menu items in the top
horizontal nav bar (the same area where the open / close panel icon is located).

Can this even be done and if so, how?

Not sure what you mean by depth. Are you talking about the width of the dropdowns in the top menu? I noticed that the text goes past the edge on one.
