I need to freshen up one of the websites I built using Quartz, and I need to know if JoomArt can be used.

However, I read here in the forum that Quartz will not be be converted to T3 frameworks.

Can we expect any new release of Quartz without T3 but containing some upgraded functionality, or is Quartz a dead option?

To be quite frank it seems like most of the templates released with T3 frameworks are graphically boring and uninteresting. They all seem very conservative, and not at all suitable for building a hotel or club website.. Is there a plan to product more graphically interesting templates without using the T3 frameworks?

As far as I know there is no schedule in the short term. However it has been stated that JA want a big presence ready in time for the release of Joomla 1.6. As such I am sure that a huge back catalogue of templates will be upgraded over the coming months.
