Anyone know anything about the Cool Ads Module. I’ve installed it and set it up just like the user module guide instructs but it won’t show anywhere.

Is there something I need to do beyond what the manual says to get this to work? It is a really neat feature (on the demo) that I want to show a client.

Any help or information is greatly appreciated!:)

Hi Kenneth,

You have to have your selected positions published in the right page. (e.g if you want your newflash with position ‘user6’ appears in Home, publish it to home menu and then place ‘user6’ to CoolAds parameter)

Don’t forget to clear the cookie if you did accidentally click the Hide or Don’t show again button.

Thanks, got it to work.

Can this module work in other templates. I’m interested in using in JA Avior but can’t seem to make it appear correctly. Would you have to know the parameters and set up configs to make it show up in that particular template?
