March 30, 2009 at 11:53 pm #299167When you say ‘gone’ do you mean the code has been striped from the HTML or that the images are just not displaying?
How are you placing the images in the article in the first place? On a local machine i normally just copy them to images folder and just write the path in.

March 31, 2009 at 12:04 am #299168Hi,
You’re right, all “the code has been striped (missing) from the HTML”, left only the plain text after saved.

March 31, 2009 at 12:08 am #299170Are you using TinyMCE? can you post the HTML of your article here BEFORE you save?
Tiny does strip some script tags but shouldn’t strip IMG tags. You can go to plugins and set it to not do this.

March 31, 2009 at 12:26 am #299173Tried using Editor with and without TinyMCE with no luck.
Is the same thing happenned, is just simple code and normal like :
<img class=”caption” src=”images/stories/demo/sl-2.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”Sample image” title=”Sample image” align=”left” /> <p>Vestibulum mauris ut sed laoreet Nulla et molestie nisl. Ridiculus eu id pretium Curabitur risus pellentesque Vestibulum mauris metus turpis. Ornare Nulla in velit ante nisl tempor ultrices ac porta habitant.</p> <p>Dui elit orci at ut quis Integer rhoncus nec <a href=”#” title=”Sample link”>pharetra ligula.</a></p> <hr id=”system-readmore” /> <p>Ut Phasellus elit consectetuer Suspendisse et parturient feugiat lobortis condimentum ipsum. Auctor Vestibulum dolor ante lorem sed malesuada Phasellus augue Integer urna. Pede lorem sem habitant ipsum congue pede vitae malesuada rutrum massa. Feugiat amet et at in leo egestas wisi lobortis elit Proin. Ipsum Quisque nec ut tempus aliquet libero urna Suspendisse Phasellus Morbi. </p>But everytime I saved the result become simple text without the code, like :
Vestibulum mauris ut sed laoreet Nulla et molestie nisl. Ridiculus eu id pretium Curabitur risus pellentesque Vestibulum mauris metus turpis. Ornare Nulla in velit ante nisl tempor ultrices ac porta habitant. Dui elit orci at ut quis Integer rhoncus nec pharetra ligula. <hr id=”system-readmore” /> Ut Phasellus elit consectetuer Suspendisse et parturient feugiat lobortis condimentum ipsum. Auctor Vestibulum dolor ante lorem sed malesuada Phasellus augue Integer urna. Pede lorem sem habitant ipsum congue pede vitae malesuada rutrum massa. Feugiat amet et at in leo egestas wisi lobortis elit Proin. Ipsum Quisque nec ut tempus aliquet libero urna Suspendisse Phasellus Morbi.Still didn’t worked, weird, the system clean up all the html code when saving the articles.
Thank you Scotty.

Hi Scotty,
I think I found the problem, in the Article Manager at the Parameters Area, the Filtering options for Filter groups all users is ‘selected’ included the ‘Super Administrator’. When I unselect and save it, I can save the images. But I cannot unselect all of them, maybe the better thing is back to reinstalled, try another clean installation. Thank you so much Scotty, this is very strange and scary!!!scotty Friendscotty

March 31, 2009 at 3:54 pm #299291Well spotted by the way. Not something I would have thought of. Although when I noticed it was stripping your <p> tags as well I knew I was on the wrong path with the Tiny config.

Your advice is always helped, made people more ‘carefull’ and more knowledgeable as Ctrl+Click above, need to PM you soon for another handycap, is that okay?
Thank you for your great advices. -
