I’ve just discovered the JA-T3 Framework and I’m very excited about its potential. I’ve been studying the videos, wiki, and tutorials and am beginning to get familiar with it, but have a problem with a custom template I’ve started.

I copied every file in the JA_T3_BLANK template into a new folder, changed the info.xml and templateDetails.xml, and made the new template the default. When I open the template, however, the “Details” and “Menu Assignment” panels are missing, the control panel area is spread across the screen, and nothing responds (except the “Close” button).

Can anyone tell me what I’m missing? Thanks!

I found the problem and thought I would share it. In the templateDetails.xml, I had entered the name of my business in the copyright tags. The name includes an “&” which turned off the Details and Menu Assignment panels.

As Steinar says, thanks for sharing. Please come back when you have finished your first design and show us all. It is always great to see what peoples imagination can come up with.
