I’m developing a site locally using MAMP/OSX in Joomla 1.0 using Mageia, but I’m almost ready to put the site live. I’ve decided to have the live site as Joomla 1.5.

So I’m wondering…. can i do a literal copy the contents from template_css.css file for the joomla 1.0 version and replace the contents of template_css.css file for the joomla 1.5 version with it??

Do the files differ in any specific way, such as hacks etc??

Can’t tell you exactly but you can always do a compare between the files.
Go here and download this : LINK

See if there are big differences and try to adjust the paths.
If they aren’t, there is no need to replace the file from 1.5

Thanks for the suggested method. I’ll give the file comparison a crack, but as I’m on a Mac i’ll be trying http://www.araxis.com/merge_mac/
