December 9, 2008 at 11:24 am #281972scotty;94341Publish it to your footer and make the image a 1x1px transparent image. No one will ever notice.
Actually if you open Joomlawatch and go to ‘Settings’ there is an option there to use ‘Blank_ICON’ and I’d still publish to Footer

December 9, 2008 at 11:34 am #281975Hi Scotty
Mod is currently published, but I’ve removed ‘countries’ and left just the logo/link
Cheers

December 9, 2008 at 12:29 pm #281987Open templates.css and at the very end add…
/* JoomaWatch */
.joomlawatch {
font-size: 90%;
}As the text is hard coded as CAPS you can’t make them start with a CAP and then have lower case.
You could change them in the db but it means going through each country one by one.
Let me know if you want any further styling and remember to set that Joomawatch icon to BLANK in the joomlawatch settings.

December 9, 2008 at 12:39 pm #281989Thanks Scotty. Will try this and set icon to Blank. Just about to buy the ad-free licence too!
By the way, I assume that in the list of ‘countries’, the bots are included? We’re showing about 40% of traffic as from USA, yet I know this isn’t true. We get a lot of US bots but not very many visitors.
Therefore, the ‘countries’ thing is a bit misleading?
Cheers

December 9, 2008 at 12:46 pm #281991Hmm I doubt it includes bots but as I’ve never used the front end mod I can’t give you an accurate answer. Maybe ask the question on the Joomlawatch forum, the guy that runs it is very good and makes sure every question is answered.
I have found a way using PHP to convert the country names to proper case but I haven’t tested it and not really sure where to use it (PHP novice here). I’d imaging it goes at the start of the mod_joomlawatch but I’ll try it out tonight and get back to you.

December 9, 2008 at 12:52 pm #281994OK. I’ll ask on the forum. Already got a thread running about upper and lower case here:
http://www.codegravity.com/index.php?option=com_joomlaboard&Itemid=8&func=view&catid=2&id=1653#1653Everything now ‘hidden’ on my front end and waiting for the ads to disappear now that the licence is purchased!

December 12, 2008 at 6:18 pm #282637I was curious about the ‘who’s online’ module as well. Today I used the social bookmark plugin and submitted a couple articles on my site and with in 10 minutes I went from 4 guests to 450. Yet, the article that I submitted only went up 25 views so I figure something has to be misinterpreting users.
I tried the Joomla Watch but it in backend it just just sits on loading visits.. and loading stats… According to the FAQ that’s a permission issue but I checked and my permissions are fine. I checked the forum and multiple users are having the same issue which was supposdly fixed in his beta release. I tried that release still same issue.
What version of JoomlaWatch are you guys using?
