    Hi!

My website won’t show correctly in Internett Explorer. A get the message “Internet Explorer Cannot Open the Internet Site Operation Aborted”. It’s not good in IE8.0, but in 7.0 and older it’s horrible.

I’m trying to find out why. Could it be that the newsletter component Commucator that I installed messes things up? Have anyone had problems with that?

    Thanks!

well to confirm, try disabling or deleting the component and see if your site works?

I opened your website in both, firefox and IE 7, i did not encounter any problems. Did you changed the module ?

The thing is that the text under the image is gone. It only show some words from the original text. Do you know what it could be?

Check the article for any strange ‘code’ that shouldn’t be there. Click the HTML tab and see if there’s any code that looks odd and remove it. This can occur if the text has been pasted into the Article Editor (especially if it’s come from Word).

At lease in firefox it looks fine.

Netsiden ser fin ut og det er fint å se hva som skjer i Norge. Jeg håper du får til det du trenger. Lykke til.

    Quest is right

did you copy and paste any content intop the site, that is probably the issue as word and other applications have proprietary code that does not work on websites.

also, look for any unopened or unclosed div and P tags in your content

I deleted the Communicator and the subscibe-exstension last week, and the site started to work a bit better. But yesterday I reinstalled it, and now the website won’t open at all in IE 7. What could be the problem?

    Thanks!

It seems like the Communicator newsletter extension is the problem. I just want to delete it. The problem is that it is really handy. Do you know of any other good “subscribe to newsletter-tools”?

    Thanks.
