Hello,

whenever I want to save up the global configuration I get the error message:

Could not save data. Error: Could not write to the configuration file

I used the standard configuration file, so I can’t see where the problem is.

Please help! Thanks in advanced,

Hello Markus,

The problem is fromFile configuration.php in your site, it’s not writable, please sign in to FTP software and change its permission. You can read here for reference: http://docs.joomla.org/Cannot_save_Global_Configuration_changes
