Today when I testing with JA Hotel template, I noticed that you use JA Content Type plugin to insert Youtube and Vimeo videos into Joomla articles, this is a great idea.

However, we Chinese people can not access Youtube or Vimeo website from inside our country. We have our own big video sharing website, http://www.youku.com ,which is also free to upload and share videos.

Could you please improve JA Content Type plugin to include support for Youku.com videos?

Do not determine the importance of this feature request by votes it got. Because most Chinese Joomla users do not speak English, and they will NEVER come here and vote for this feature, though they need this feature very eagerly.

Let me talk to the team to see if we can easily include support for youku in our plugin. If not, I am afraid it would fall under customization tasks.

Hi baijianpeng,

We added this feature to JA Hotel template and it will be updated in the next release of template. I will provide the solution to add into your site.

Download and replace the video.xml file in the path: [YOUR_SITE]/templates/ja_hotel/contenttype/types/video.xml,

and the video_play.php in the path: [YOUR_SITE]/templates/ja_hotel/html/layouts/joomla/content/video_play.php

Always backup the old files first and inform me the results.
