I have enabled promo bar on the site provided above on “Testimonial link”. but the countdown information is not displaced. could you please help?

Any idea what may be stopping countdown to work? could you please help.

Hello there,

I’ve successfully set up countdown for my JA Promobar installed on a JA Nex/Joomla 2.5 Quick Start sandbox:

which indicates that out of the box JA Promobar and it’s countdown feature work just fine and the issue you are facing is your server/your web-site specific.

Considering that your web-site is a production web-site, I strongly suggest you to clone it into a sub-folder, for example, /test01/, where our team will be able to comfortably troubleshoot it for you leaving your main web-site intact.

Please do let me know once your test sandbox is set up.

Hi there,

Your JA Promobar module’s countdown conflicts with the following two 3-rd party extensions:

1) “Freestyle Support: Testimonial”, version 1.9.0.1248, released on 30-th January 2012:

2) “RedSHOP – Featured Product”, version 1.2 released on April 2013:

As “Freestyle Testimonials” is a free add-on, I’ve installed its newer version for you and it is not conflicting with JA Promobar countdown anymore but as far as “RedSHOP – Featured Product” module is concerned, since this product is payable, you will have to either download and test its newer version from your account at redcomponent.com or, if it doesn’t help, contact its developers.

P S I assigned JA Promobar to position “absolute” to make sure it doesn’t cover your top menu but feel free to revert to “footer”.

Thanks for all the effort. I have updated the all redshop iterms but its still not displaying countdown anywhere there is a redshop iterm not just “RedSHOP – Featured Product” module. As you can see on this page http://test.dynapharmuk.com/index.php/products/immune-booster-anti-aging/ there is not Featured product module but its still doesn’t display.

I have raised a ticket with them also.
