1. I have downloaded the JA Newsflash 1.0 module but no text appears I have it set too all the right settings and nothing is showing up. I have 2 articles/news items I would like to show up.
2. Also, how do I make the top menu show different menu items then the menu on the left hand side?

All help is greatly appreciated..

1)did you publish the module to the top postion, are your content items in the category you choose in the drop down on the module parameters, did you set your content for the newsflash intro text (you need to keep it very short) and then put the bulk of the content into the main text.
2)unpublish the menu in that position, and then just make a new menu and post to that postion,
I did it on my install
