Hello,
this is not a ja_rave specific question and I guess it is easy to solve but I didn´t found the answer yet:
Where can be defined whether a newly created article should appear with or without the left of right menu (as on home page)?

I think I understand what you’re asking . . . but, just to make sure, any chance you can throw together a mock-up of what it is you’re referring to?March 3, 2012 at 11:55 am #441630Hi Tom,
I will try to make it more clear.
Lets take the ja_rave demo version as an example:
When clicking on Todays Highlight “Content Ja Rave” on Homepage the article is show in two columns (article and right module).
When clicking on “Obama on Summer Tour” the article is also shown on a page with two columns but this time with left menu plus the article text.
Other variations are article with left and right module or article alone without any left or right modules.Where can defined with what layout a new article should appear (with or without left or right modules)?

Was this issue ever resolved?March 27, 2012 at 10:44 am #445889Hello Tom,
thank you for asking.
The issue is partly resolved. After quite experimentating I found that the left or right columns can added when they are modules. So with module manager it can defined on which sides these modules should appear (and creating columns).
What I still didnt found out is how to implement the main menu on the left side (as on ja rave home page).

So that I may best try to assist you and provide you with concise guidance as to what you need to do within your template/site structure, please provide the url of the site you’re working on, as well as set “Optimize CSS” to “No” within your Template Manager–General SettingsApril 2, 2012 at 5:07 pm #446914Hi Tom,
I will send you the login date with pm.
On the (Ja Rave) Hompage is for example on main menu: “Navigation”. When clicking on it a page appears with the article and the main menu at the top as well as on the left side. What I want to know is, how to add this left side menu when creating a new article with the article manager.
Regards,
Ruediger -
