May 26, 2011 at 5:36 pm #393048First mistake was to change time format from US to EU. All dates at that time went messing up.
I have a lot of JobSeekers which dates are lost or even better are in a format that you do not understand like 1970.
I had added own date fields and had problems with that too.
At the end I headed to a normal text field for the date and the Jobseeker had to write in manualy.
I could not fix those dates, because they were really not understandable.Vinh CV FriendVinh CV

June 17, 2011 at 3:11 pm #396942I’m having this problem too with custom date fields showing on the form correctly but getting saved in the database as 0000-00-00 00:00:00.
Can you please share the fix?

June 17, 2011 at 3:44 pm #396949To make DATE field works, you must set “Validate = Datetime value”.
I don’t know if forum admin has made other changes. I played arround with the date field, because I do not want to use the time factor. it is not urgent in my case and changed the field once to a text field (it is again a date field now). It was a mess.
Try To make DATE field works, you must set “Validate = Datetime value”.
otherwise You have to wait for help from the Developer1 user says Thank You to maikkeli for this useful post

June 17, 2011 at 3:54 pm #396952Awesome, thanks so much! I changed the Validate option as you suggested and now times are being correctly stored in the database.

June 17, 2011 at 11:24 pm #397058Actually it’s only half fixed. If the user selects a value, it is stored correctly now in the database.
However if they accept the default set via “init value: now” in the backend the date/time is still being stored in the database as 0000-00-00 00:00:00.
Can this please be fixed?

June 20, 2011 at 7:37 am #397332Hi sharpdome,
The initial value must be “now”, not “init value: now”. Please check again.

June 20, 2011 at 1:29 pm #397410It is only “now”. Init value is just the label of the field.
Also, as I mentioned, if the user selects a date it is stored in the database just fine. The problem is only when the default date (set via “now”) is not modified and the form submitted.
Please check. It’s not working.

June 21, 2011 at 8:35 am #397585Hi sharpdome,
Please tell us what’s field in Form that you have set init value to “now”.
When you set init value to “now”, JAJobboard will auto fill current date time value in new item form.sharpdome Friendsharpdome

June 21, 2011 at 1:16 pm #397652Yes, the field value is filled in correctly when you look at the page before you submit it. It is not being saved correctly in the database.
Please test this on my site. Create a new job seeker account and DON’T modify the default date. Submit the registration, then check the database.
The “Available Date” field is not saved correctly. It is a Date-Calendar field just like the other date fields that do work. Maybe if there is more than one date field on a form it doesn’t work?
I would appreciate it if you could please test this on my site. You have the login credentials.
