Hi,
I’ve got a fresh install and want to include my own color scheme in a new theme. After making the initial change in ThemeMagic I save my theme and set it up in the Theme tab.
Several unexpected changes and errors occur:
- I get a burger menu in the top right corner which not is wanted
- Mainmenu padding is reduced to minimum.
- Several modules dissapear and bottom of the content is messed up design wise.
- Error showing: Block [content-mast-top] not found!

I would appreciate help with this. This is the first Joomlart template I work with so I might miss out on some special Joomlart ways to move around things, but I’ve made no changes apart from changing a color in thememagic and adding it to my template. The very first customization in other words 🙂

Looks like the main issues apeared due to me copying the template (as I usually do in order to keep the freshly installed template as a backup) and working off of the copy. However, when working with the original there still are errors as seen now where the css is wrong compared to the main theme.(Never mind the logo as it is now..)
- Padding is gone
- Numbering on the main slider is smaller
Basicly there’s unwanted css changes when creating and applying a custom colortheme.
As a followup, where are the custom themes stored? I wouldn’t find it with the others 🙂

March 21, 2016 at 10:50 am #902824Hi,
The template is installed with example data with no problem. That is not the issue.
I’m assigning a new theme through thememagic and the css gets messed up. That is the problem.

March 24, 2016 at 7:08 am #904169I have looked from backend of your site and this is a way to set new theme and page on your site
-
When you change other themes from backend of your site (theme_setting.png)
- You need to select the template style and page assign from backend of your site (assignment.png)

March 25, 2016 at 3:12 am #904519Apologies for this late response because I needed time to check the problem on your site and saw you created both logistratheme and logistra themes and besides that I compare both themes above with our default and see you changed the CSS style from .acm-slideshow and .has-slideshow .t3-header
If you want to make custom work only the CSS style with template default. You don’t want to create the new theme on that. You only need to create templates/ja_elicyon/css/custom.css file and add all the new CSS style if you want to make a custom on your site.
I set the default theme on your site as our demo but you won’t able to see the image as your demo because the images used in the demo sites are stock images for demo purpose only not for redistribution. So that those images are be replaced by image placeholder in the quickstart package.

Hello, i am having the same issue here. Everytime i change something via Thememanager and click save, the menu padding is gone. I see there is no real solution so far. Any help?

April 19, 2016 at 4:08 am #919591@jbkhellas: Please have a look at the guide how to work with theme magic or you only work with small changes on your site maybe you can create custom.css file and add the CSS style on that.
