JoomlArt Technical Support is here to help GUIDE our members with various issues/questions/problems – hence, the references to tutorials that I provided previously … the second bunch of which (for the most part) mirror what Saguaros layed out for you as well.
By reading and working through these processes, you will learn even more about how these templates work/function – in case you want/need to add more positions at a later date.
Let us know how you come along with the tutorial instructions. 🙂

I created the position after the process indicated it is positioned in the right place but can not be assigned a module and displayed there.victortopper Friendvictortopper

August 4, 2015 at 12:40 pm #649576Hi Saguaros,
I am puzzled why in http://mt5.mwinda.org/?tp=1 several positions give 404 instead of opening the module for editing. This appears to happen on both Victor’s custom position and some of the already existing template positions, e.g. Position: footer [ Style: none outline] [FONT=verdana] at the bottom of the page.

August 5, 2015 at 3:01 am #649653@ victortopper: I tested in my local first before suggesting here, pls make sure that you assign module to right position and also check the ‘Menu assignment’ to assign to correct page.
@tim: I can’t see 404 in this page: http://mt5.mwinda.org/?tp=1victortopper Friendvictortopper

August 5, 2015 at 8:45 am #650785This is reason why I asked you to check the menu assignment carefully first. This page belongs to the Journal menu item on your site and you DID NOT assign this module to that menu item.
You can see it’s showing now.

August 6, 2015 at 3:19 pm #658593Hi M.Saguaros,
Thank you very much for the help you bring me, especially your patience to explain things and your teaching that I really appreciate. I am very satisfied.
My last request would be how to remove the spaces marked in blue arrow attached imageSaguaros ModeratorSaguaros

August 7, 2015 at 2:17 am #658636You can use Google chrome inspect element or Firebug for Firefox. Then hover any HTML you want and right click on it and check the inspect element, it will show you which CSS class it’s using and which css file/path of this file on the right side, then you can easily change as you wish.

August 7, 2015 at 3:13 am #658649I just checked by debug firefox “inspect ELEMENT” I do not voice a line css for this module as bootstrap.css lines and styles.css is what it is on here to do the modification?
I think you need to add code to force it to have the left margin to zero, because I managed to change the right margin but not the left

August 7, 2015 at 4:28 am #658660Check this screenshot: http://prntscr.com/81sb61
It’s in the file: root/templates/ja_teline_v/local/css/template.css, you can change the margin-bottom property to 0
I think it’s time for you to learn some basic knowledge for CSS, it’s more interesting to get something done by ourselves and save times.
