Hello,

I get a critical problem when trying to use K2 with JA News – Linear Layout (mod_janewspro).
The site just crashed and got an error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method K2ModelItemlist::getCategoryFirstChildren() in /home/waelali/public_html/modules/mod_janewspro/helpers/adapter/k2.php on line 64

Googling to resolve the problem gave me : http://getk2.org/community/New-to-K2-Ask-here-first!/952-undefined-method-K2ModelItemlist

Please use JAEM and update your ja products, this was solved in the 2.5.0 release of newspro

I have the last version of every thing – Modules – Plugins , template… But still have the problem
Can I PM you my details so you can check please??

Sine I made updates 10 days ago , and tried to update now every thing, and got latest version of all.

Maybe you did not solve that or updated the RTL version when you solved the bug??
Maybe you can tell me how to resolve that manually here??

I’ve asked the dev’s to take a look… I noticed your k2 is older you might try updating that in the meantime.
just for record. ticket# is MFI-489-86521

How can I update K2?? in JA Extensions manager??

I have updated the K2 component to latest version , and it works fine.
