Using Teline IV with the NewsPro showing stories with thumbnails.

Background: I can only get the thumbnails to work when I select USING IMAGE SOURCE in the NewsPro Module settings. Changing this causes JFTP::Failed to Move errors on the page and NO images show.

That’s ok, it works, except it stretches thumbnails that are out of proportion. The JA Thumbnail plugin offers an option: “Crop Image?” Is there no similar option in the NewsPro module? Normal photos look good. But when the image is a person (typically a portrait-style photo) it stretches them wide (and fat!).

You have a permissions issue with your folders.
As a General Rule…folders should be set to 755, files to 644.
This should clear up most all of your issues above.
