    Hello,

This post is in regard to Edenite 2.5.x

I was able to successfully modify CSS to accomodate a taller logo (from the default 42px to the new 100px). I made a few other modifications to margins so that the new logo was spacing properly. However, whenever I clean JAT3 cache, the height of the logo container reverts back to 42px.

Additionally, upon cleaning, the CSS files change their names, too.

For example, the pertinent template CSS files were originally, “../t3-assets/css_2721d.css” and “../t3-assets/css_89ba3.css”. After cleaning cache, the files are now named, “css_4aa5c.css” and “css_8b252.css”. The automatic renaming is not such a concern, as much as that one aspect (h1.logo{height:100px;) reverting back to h1.logo{height:42px;. What’s odd is that the other simple CSS margin modifications are remaining intact.

Am I missing a step somewhere?

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi

The /t3assets folder store temp optimized css files so every changes done to the files will be lost when you refresh the cache

you need first to disable any css optimization from your backend >> template manager >>

Make your changes in /templates/ja edenite default/ css folder – template.css file

after you made the changes on code regarding logo image and size you can enable again the css optimization to increase your website speed

    Never mind. Fixed.

    The problem: I’m an idiot.

Was editing the wrong CSS. Correct CSS is “..templates/ja_edenite/css/template.css”

    At ease.

Thank you, Pavit, for the quick response – and extra tip.
