    I’ve experienced also the delay on Css and Moo Menues at the Barite’s demo on FF, IE7 and Safari on Window Vista; but on my test site it performance is very erratic.

    These menus have a delay when roll-hovering the drop down, specially with the 2nd level sub items and when the 1st level items are 3 and above. (my main menu items have up to 8 sub-items and some add a 3 item flyouts for the second level items).

    I also noticed an erratic performance when changing the width of the menu item list on the css.

    #ja-cssmenu li ul {
    width: 16.4em;
    width: 15.9em

    Any suggestions on how to improve the menu performance would be greatly appreciated 🙂

    I second that.
    Could you please tell which one is the best procedure to modify moomenu width? Thank you 🙂

    I have seen this as well. The quickstart build is very snappy, but in my case I applied the template to a site with lots of stuff already installed and the menu is VERY SLOW. The initial popup is less responsive than the quickstart, but as I mouseover deeper menu levels it gets even slower. I checked to see if I could find any obvious JS conflicts – uncertain on that one.

    I am working on a local server. I can post to a dev site if anyone might be able to have a look.

    Joomla 1.5.6, problem shows in IE7, FF seems ok

    (I have looked around at other Barite sites and found this one with a slow menu
