Hi.
In my demo environment I used for the mainmenu the ‘dropline menu’.
But now, after changing the Menu System through the template parameters from Dropline to CSS menu, I still get the dropline appearing on the frontpage (Home). Clicking any menu item (except Home) displays the CSS menu.
Did I miss out anything?
Regards.
Tom

Can you provide the url of the site you’re working on – so I can take a look at what’s going on (as you describe)?January 5, 2012 at 7:52 am #432618Sure:
For instance: if you click on COLUMNS, the css menu will appear.
Clicking back to Home will give you the dropline menu again. If needed I can also provide you with an admin login.

January 5, 2012 at 8:51 pm #432701First of all . . . . NICE WORK so far on your site development – keep up the good work.
Okay, so I brought up your site. The CSS menus (for the items you have sub/child menu items assigned/enabled) all seem to be working fine.
I clicked on “Columns” as you instructed . . . which naturally brought me to the assigned page.
Again, no perceived or identified problems with the CSS menu function from what I could see.I then clicked on the “Home” icon, as you instructed . . . which naturally brought me back to the Home page (where I started). For me, all of the CSS menus continued to function as they should. I did not see or trigger any “dropline menu” function . . . and I clicked just about everything.
Just to be sure . . .I clicked “Columns” again and, after being brought to that page, I clicked the LOGO image – which brought me back to the Home page. Same result – all CSS menus seemed to be functioning correctly and I did not see any “dropline menu” function occurring.
If I am not following the correct steps to re-create the issue, please let me know. :((
Another thing that might be helpful is if you can throw together a screenshot image of the issue you are experiencing, so I can see what you are seeing (as I am not able to recreate it at this point) – and then I can investigate further.
January 6, 2012 at 7:57 am #432746Hi Tom!
Thanks for taking the effort!
I figurered out in the meantime what caused the behaviour: it was a profile override in the template setting.
After deleting the profile the css menu now also appears on the frontpage. So that’s why you didn’t see any dropline…Again thank you, also for your compliment.
Good luck to yourself!
Regards.
Tom
