I would appreciate some guidance on these css optimization options. Should I remove easyblog and Jomsocial from “excluded css opt”?

Are there any drawbacks to optimizing?

Also wanted to ask about which option to pick if you do suggest optimizing. Linked files? Join and minify? Join minify and compress?

I only ask because my site runs very slowly.

Why don’t you perform a little “trial-and-error” and see how your site loads/runs both ways – see if you notice a difference.

I tried a few options and can’t seem to figure out why my site is going so slow. Could it have anything to do with updating everything to 1.7? (joomla, template, extensions). Ever since then, it has been running significantly slower.

I updated my first post with site info. If you could take a look and see if you experience the same thing, I’d really appreciate it.
