    Hi,

in the older templates e.g. ja_tiris it was possible to code every change in a specific local theme. so if the template gots updated the overrides would stay unchanged. And the changes were really good structured.

In the mero-template with T3v3 as i got the logic by now, there ist just the possibility to clone the e.g. “wood”- thema with all the adjustments and changes made already in there (maybe 8000lines) and ad the more custom like changes. if joomlaart updates the theme i had to use the new version, clone again the new wood theme and than add the custom changes again. this is not really nice and the older system had more flexibility.

Is there a solution to have the system of local themes in Mero with t3v3 as well?
    Thanks Oliver

    Hi Oliver,

As T3 framework support multi-themes. I think its function is almost the same as older system.
If you create a theme and make change in theme LESS file, those styles will be kept unchanged.

Why would you need to clone new ‘wood’ theme? You only need to recompile the LESS to CSS and those LESS rule will overwrite the default LESS (updated) and this behavior work as the same as old system.

Please read more about T3 customization

    Regards
